This story was super cute, and honestly, it really was. But as someone who’s dived into wolf shifter books before, I struggled a bit with the whole idea. I mean, how could a wolf shifter not have a clue about what a fated mate bond is? He’s the alpha’s son, prepped to take over the pack — it just didn’t add up. Still, I really appreciated how the book tackled mental health issues — it actually acknowledges them and talks about asking for help. Overall, it’s a decent read, but if you’re picking it up for the wolf shifter angle, you might end up feeling let down.
