Meghan Quinn has truly outdone herself with Rule for the Summer. If I could recommend just one book for you to devour, this is the one! It’s not only the most heartfelt but also the laugh-out-loud funniest book I’ve ever read. And let me tell you, I always dive into both the physical book and the audio version because that’s how I stay completely immersed in the story. While some audiobooks can fall short, this one is absolute perfection. The narration is a flawless blend of talent! Shane East as Theo and Gary Furlong as Rupert deliver comedic brilliance. Oh, and the mouse scene—let me just say, I was laughing so hard that tears streamed down my face! I honestly believe that if you were to read that scene, it wouldn’t pack the same punch as hearing it brought to life. I rated this masterpiece a solid 5 stars, but if I could give it more, I would! This book has made its mark on my heart, and just thinking about it brings a smile to my face. It’s undoubtedly a story I’ll revisit time and time again. So make sure to add it to your TBR list! If you can swing it, treat yourself to both the book and the Audible version—you won’t regret it. It’s a true gem!
