GAME CHANGER

I craved an enthralling escape after reading The Alchemist, so I eagerly dove into Game Changer by Rachel Reid. The excitement surrounding the Heated Rivals series on HBO Max inspired me to immerse myself in the book before the adaptation premiered. You know how I am—when a series calls my name, I joyfully start right from the beginning! At the heart of this captivating tale lies the beautiful dance of relationships, sprinkled with insecurities, deep-seated secrets, and the transformative power of love. Scott embarked on a heartfelt journey of self-discovery, recognizing that true happiness and acceptance blossomed from honesty with himself and those he cares about. He learned that being a role model could coexist with staying true to himself and nurturing his connections. Meanwhile, Kip explored his identity, discovering that his self-worth wasn’t tied to his profession, or lack thereof. He realized that loving someone could flourish without sacrificing friends and family or weaving falsehoods. This narrative goes beyond mere romance; it delves into the profound connections that thrive outside a relationship between two men. This is definitely a delightful read, and I think I will pace myself through the series, enjoying a book every now and then. Each book can stand alone, making it a wonderful journey!

Hi, I'm Rese. I'm starting out on the road to wellness. My journey will not look like yours. And I guarantee that there will be many stumbles along the way. Life happens, and to be honest, I known that I won't break years of bad habits overnight. But I will keep moving forward. I won't let it defeat me. My goal is not to lose weight, although that would definitely be welcome, but instead to lower my blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol by finding a healthier way of eating. A way that works for me and my lifestyle. Some days will be perfect and some days will look like a train wreck, but eventually, I hope there are more good days than bad ones. Or at least that's the goal!
