Man, I’m totally wiped out after reading this! The world-building? Amazing. The characters? So varied. The plot? Full of twists and turns. Seriously, I needed a stack of notecards just to keep track! Marion Blackwood is a total genius. I honestly don’t get why I didn’t give this a 5-Star. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll feel anxious, frustrated, and even angry. It hits all the feels. And trust me, you’re gonna fall head over heels for Draven. Add this to your TBR like, right now!!!

This is the second book in the Flame and Thorns series by Marion Blackwood, and let me tell you, it just keeps getting better! The author really knows how to hook her readers in. There’s so much happening that you’ll be afraid to blink or you’ll miss something juicy. You’re gonna uncover some mind-blowing truths! The only thing that bugged me a bit was Selena (the main character) could come off as overly confident, like, a bit narcissistic at times. But that ending? Wow, just wow!

This was my second time diving into Empire of Flame and Thorns by Marion Blackwood. I decided to hold off until the whole series was out (both eBook and Audio) before I kept going. Honestly, I loved it even more the second time around! I caught some stuff I totally missed before. The writing is just gorgeous, and I got super hooked on the characters. Imagine The Hunger Games but with Fae and Dragon Shifters! This book will have you on the edge of your seat, and that ending? Whoa!! You won’t see that twist coming at all!

Game On was the latest entry in the Into Darkness series, and while it was a solid read, it didn’t quite take the top spot for me—that crown still goes to Josh and Aly’s story. But seriously, the back and forth between Theo/Tyler and Stella? Absolutely epic! Throw AJ into the mix, and we’re talking some seriously steamy stuff. This relationship starts off with lies and manipulation but evolves into so much more. It really hits home that money can’t buy everything. Once again, Navessa Allen nails it! She takes you on a wild emotional ride that makes you question your own morals from time to time.

I encountered some challenges diving into Rewind It Back for a few compelling reasons. Firstly, I was acutely aware that this would be the final installment of the Windy City Series, and the thought of it ending broke my heart. I had developed an undeniable love for each character, and I simply wasn’t ready to say goodbye. Secondly, it was Rio’s story, and I was hesitant about how it would unfold. Having grown accustomed to his role as the playful, devoted friend, I struggled to envision him in any other light. But oh my gosh, the way Liz Tomforde wove Rio’s narrative—absolutely incredible! I adored meeting young Rio and uncovering the origins of the man he had become. And the romance between him and Hallie? Let’s just say it was a timeless love that left me envious of their bond. Liz truly knocked it out of the park with this one. I’m still completely enchanted!

Another mesmerizing 5-Star read from Liz Tomforde! I was completely enchanted by Isaiah and Kennedy’s journey together. It was incredibly heartwarming to witness Isaiah discover his soulmate while bravely navigating his anxiety, and to see Kennedy blossom as she stepped out of her comfort zone. Once again, this story showcased relatable characters who truly embodied personal growth. I was particularly captivated by the evolution of their relationship, especially as it bravely addressed a woman’s ambition in a male-dominated field. This tale undeniably tugs at your heartstrings and leaves a lasting impression!

Caught Up by Liz Tomforde is an extraordinary masterpiece! It utterly exceeded my expectations and checked every box on my list. The prose is exquisite, the plot is riveting, and the characters are so well-crafted that they feel like real friends. From the very first page, I was swept away into the gripping tale of Kai, Max (Bug), and Miller. By the time I reached the end, I was left emotionally shattered, not just shedding a tear on one page but crying through entire chapters. It’s a stunning work of art that demands to be read—an absolute must-have for any book lover!
