Hi, I'm Rese. I'm starting out on the road to wellness. My journey will not look like yours. And I guarantee that there will be many stumbles along the way. Life happens, and to be honest, I known that I won't break years of bad habits overnight. But I will keep moving forward. I won't let it defeat me. My goal is not to lose weight, although that would definitely be welcome, but instead to lower my blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol by finding a healthier way of eating. A way that works for me and my lifestyle. Some days will be perfect and some days will look like a train wreck, but eventually, I hope there are more good days than bad ones. Or at least that's the goal!

BOUND IN BLOOD

I couldn’t resist the urge to dive into this series and rate it after experiencing its brilliance! First and foremost, how have I only just discovered this gem? Someone has been keeping this treasure from me! Sadie Kincaid is nothing short of a literary mastermind. The Broken Bloodlines Series is an exquisite tapestry of storytelling. Set in an enthralling academic backdrop, it weaves together the enchanting realms of witches, werewolves, vampires, and yes, even dragons! It’s a reverse harem narrative where the main male characters shower the female lead with kindness right from the start. Expect a whirlwind of love, passion, and heart-pounding adventure, capped off with a mind-blowing plot twist that will leave you gasping! The emotional rollercoaster, particularly in the gripping third book, Bound in Blood, is utterly captivating. While reading the short prequel, Born in Blood, isn’t essential, I indulged in it at the end and treasured the glimpse it gave into Axl’s backstory. I wholeheartedly recommend this series!

DEEP END

Ali Hazelwood has done it again! Deep End was an absolutely breathtaking five-star read that swept me off my feet. She possesses an extraordinary talent for crafting unforgettable stories. Lukas? He’s undeniably a top-tier book boyfriend, and I find myself still captivated by this book, days after turning the final page. THE HOUSE IN THE CERULEAN SEA

This captivating book has been on my TBR list for far too long, and I finally found the perfect moment to dive in. The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune is an extraordinary feel-good journey that warms the heart. It tells the enchanting tale of an orphanage for extraordinary magical children, each wonderfully unique, and the compassionate souls who nurture them with endless love, kindness, and acceptance. This story delivers a powerful message, teaching us not to judge a person solely by their appearance or the love they choose to embrace. It beautifully reminds us that family isn’t defined by blood but by the bonds we create. This is an absolute must-read that will leave you inspired and uplifted!

THE VIEW FROM LAKE COMO

One of the most extraordinary books I’ve encountered this year is The View from Lake Como by Adriana Trigiani; it swept me off my feet just like Eat, Pray, Love did. Her prose dances off the page, inviting you to immerse yourself in the lush beauty of Italy, making you feel as if you’re living the adventure alongside the characters. As the protagonist embarks on her journey of self-discovery, you find yourself evolving right along with her. This book brims with profound insights that stir your soul, prompting you to reflect deeply on your own choices and the paths you’ve taken. It’s an absolute must-read!!!

THE NAUGHTY LIST

I just dove into another Jade West book, and wow, it was totally different from the last one! The Naughty List is this fun story about a woman who decides to be an “entertainer” to save up enough cash for an epic trip to Australia to hang out with her family for the holidays. If you’re into steamy reads, this one will definitely get you fired up. Just a heads up, though—it’s got some pretty wild scenes that really go for it. I gave it 3 stars since the plot could’ve been a bit better, but I’m totally planning to check out the next two books in the series—just gonna take a little breather first.
