Matilda and Vince’s story is profoundly heartbreaking. While another reviewer suggested that Vince’s presence was unnecessary, I firmly disagree. Matilda’s decisions are deeply rooted in her feelings for Vince; without him, she wouldn’t have become the person she ultimately is. Every choice she makes is tied to her love for him. Add this to your TBR—it’s an absolute must-read.
