I encountered some challenges diving into Rewind It Back for a few compelling reasons. Firstly, I was acutely aware that this would be the final installment of the Windy City Series, and the thought of it ending broke my heart. I had developed an undeniable love for each character, and I simply wasn’t ready to say goodbye. Secondly, it was Rio’s story, and I was hesitant about how it would unfold. Having grown accustomed to his role as the playful, devoted friend, I struggled to envision him in any other light. But oh my gosh, the way Liz Tomforde wove Rio’s narrative—absolutely incredible! I adored meeting young Rio and uncovering the origins of the man he had become. And the romance between him and Hallie? Let’s just say it was a timeless love that left me envious of their bond. Liz truly knocked it out of the park with this one. I’m still completely enchanted!
