This book, this entire series, completely captivated me. I can confidently say that I’ll always carry its essence with me. The emotional depth of the characters and the intricacies of their relationships left a lasting impression that fills me with joy when I think back on those pivotal moments. I’m eagerly looking forward to a novella to reveal how the characters are faring, as the story opens the door to so many exciting possibilities at its conclusion. Not in a negative way, but rather a delightful curiosity sparks within me, urging me to explore their journeys further. I can’t help but want to leap five years into the future just to check in. Did Cal and Zavier find their path to each other and grow even stronger together? How is the Alchemy school flourishing under Dessa’s inspiring leadership, and what marvelous discoveries have blossomed from its halls? Where are Wilder and Thea now, and what new adventures awaited them? What about Kip and his tavern – has it transformed into a vibrant gathering place for adventurers and scholars full of laughter and camaraderie? And how are Wren and Torj joyfully embracing their new roles, navigating the exciting challenges and rewards that come with change?
