December was a whirlwind of joy and excitement with all the festive celebrations, leaving little time for my beloved reading. I found myself deeply immersed in the gripping Legacy Series by Melissa K. Roehrich, desperately not wanting it to come to a close. I indulged in a few enchanting holiday reads that truly captured the spirit of the season—Good Spirits by B.K. Borison and Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal by Meghan Quinn, both of which brought delightful cheer to my month. I also tackled a collection of short stories, Home Sweet Holidays, that unfortunately fell flat for me, as short stories often do. To wrap up the year on a high note, I dove into a delightful rom-com, Not Safe for Work by Nisha J. Tuli, which left me grinning from ear to ear. As I step into the new year, I’m excitedly navigating the pages of The Alchemised by SenLinYu—though I find myself on the fence about it, I’m hopeful it’ll spark my intrigue soon!
